    On October 10, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM local time, two drone strikes reportedly hit Chila, Tigray. According to Tigray Monitor's field reporting, the attacks killed a four-year-old girl and left several civilians injured, including people with serious injuries. Civilian residential buildings also sustained extensive damage. Tigray Monitor staff confirmed the incident from the affected location, supported by photographs and video footage. The identity of the responsible party and the military circumstances of the strikes have not yet been independently established. Photographs taken at the site show shattered blue glass over a concrete walkway and doorstep, several torn metal fragments and a perforated disc-shaped metal part held by a witness, and a corrugated-iron shed with its roof and frame torn apart.
