The public site sets no tracking cookies. A single local preference (light or dark theme) is stored in your browser. Server logs keep request paths for operational purposes only.

People who submit reports

Your description, any location and files you attach are stored so reviewers can assess them. Exact coordinates and original file metadata are never published. Contact details are stored only if you allow contact, are encrypted at rest, and are visible only to reviewers cleared for source protection. Published copies of images are re-encoded with metadata removed.

People named in sources

We publish what identifiable sources say. Attribution of responsibility is published only when supported by evidence and approved by a reviewer, and every such statement can be challenged through the contact page.
